Trunk first while exploring
with a shopping cart or car, materials go to its trunk first, then your backpack.

Demolishing furniture drops its materials on the floor, and scrapping it with a full backpack does the same. Scrap Pickup puts them away for you.

the trunk is not with you at home, so materials go to your backpack.
items drop on the ground only when the trunk and the backpack have no room.
works for Scrap and for Demolish.

The backpack counts as full when it has no free slot or when the item would put you over your carry weight, the same check the game makes when you pick something up. Only furniture you remove yourself is affected.
Scrap Pickup adds nothing to your save and does not edit game files. You can remove it at any time.
Works in English and Chinese.
BepInEx\config\com.dev.survivallog.scrappickup.cfgChange them on the Mod Manager's Mods screen, or edit the file with the game closed.[Scrap]false to skip the trunk; items then go to your backpack. At home the trunk is never used. Items drop on the ground only when nothing has room.SurvivalLog.exe). The zip holds a BepInEx folder, so the DLL lands in the right place. When asked, merge the folders. The result should be:C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Survival Log\BepInEx\plugins\ScrapPickup.dllSurvival Log\
├─ SurvivalLog.exe
└─ BepInEx\
├─ plugins\
│ └─ ScrapPickup.dll
└─ config\
└─ com.dev.survivallog.scrappickup.cfg (made on first start)Delete ScrapPickup.dll from the BepInEx\plugins folder.
To change settings, edit BepInEx\config\com.dev.survivallog.scrappickup.cfg while the game is closed, or do it in game on the Mod Manager's Mods screen, where changes take effect at once (see CONFIG.md for every setting). ToTrunk turns the trunk off; items then go to your backpack. Without Exiled's Toolkit installed, changes made on the Mods screen take effect at the next game start instead.
First release. Items from furniture you scrap or demolish go to your trunk or shopping cart while exploring, then your backpack, and drop on the ground only when nothing has room. At home they go to your backpack.
Items stored inside a piece of furniture (a cabinet's contents, for example) still drop on the ground when you demolish it. Only the materials the furniture breaks down into are put away.
