Survival Log DatabaseδΈζ–‡

Difficulty and weather

A new game picks a level for each difficulty setting, or a preset that sets them all. The weather is not random: every run follows the same schedule, and Extreme Weather changes it the same way every time, so the calendar below is exact.

4Extreme Weather

Extreme Weather changes the schedule in two ways. Once a day it can clear up a whole Cloudy day. Each hour it can move the weather one step harsher or milder. A step never leads to a second step, and the same day and hour always roll the same number.

6Good to know

  • The rolls depend only on the day and hour, so every run on the same level gets exactly this weather.
  • The next-day forecast lists the schedule as written and ignores Extreme Weather, so on any other level it can be wrong.
  • After the last day on the calendar, every hour is Clear.
  • Endless mode does not use this schedule. It rolls its own weather.
