Fixed height
the list stops at a set height and scrolls with the mouse wheel.

Tired of the events list running down your screen, or hiding events behind "...N more"? Event List keeps the list to a fixed height and lets the rest scroll. Emergencies and running countdowns move to the top so you never miss them. And a second badge on the phone counts the event texts still waiting for you to accept them, so those are not missed either.

the "...N more" cut never shows; every event stays in the list.
emergencies and the zombie wave move to the top.
events with a running countdown come right after, the one about to run out first.
when an event becomes important the list scrolls up to show it, but never while your pointer is on the list.
clicks on the list and around it land where they did.

a second badge on the phone button, and on the messages app inside the phone, counts the event texts waiting for you to accept them. It turns orange with an hourglass when one of them has a countdown, and goes away once nothing is waiting. The game's own red badge stays as it is.
Event List only changes what is drawn on screen. It reads the texts in your phone to count the waiting event texts, and never changes the game's data, adds nothing to your save and does not edit game files. You can remove it at any time.
Works in any game language.
BepInEx\config\com.dev.survivallog.eventlist.cfgChange them on the Mod Manager's Mods screen, or edit the file with the game closed.[EventList]MaxHeight is held between 60 and 600. A value below 60 is raised to 60 and a value above 600 is lowered to 600. 0 or a negative number means the default, 136, which is room for both group headers and four rows. For comparison, the game's own scroll box, when it uses one, stops at 220.
CountdownSoonestFirst compares time left in whole seconds, so countdowns in the same second keep the game's order. A countdown whose time left cannot be read goes after the other countdowns, in the game's order. It can also move a whole group: when the normal group's soonest countdown runs out before the main group's, the normal group sits above the main group.
PhoneEventBadge counts the same conversations as the game's own text badge: none while the phone is locked, and none from a contact who died or went missing. An event text counts from the moment it arrives until you accept it or it runs out. The badge is checked every two seconds, so a new text can take that long to show.
false turns the mod off: the list stays as the game draws it, and the phone gets no event badge. Takes effect at the next game start.false keeps the game's order; the list still has its fixed height.false: only emergencies move up. Works only while ImportantOnTop is true.false: they keep the game's order. Works only while ImportantOnTop and CountdownOnTop are both true.false: no event badge. Works only while Enabled is true.SurvivalLog.exe). The zip holds a BepInEx folder, so the DLL lands in the right place. When asked, merge the folders. The result should be:C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Survival Log\BepInEx\plugins\EventList.dllSurvival Log\
├─ SurvivalLog.exe
└─ BepInEx\
├─ plugins\
│ └─ EventList.dll
└─ config\
└─ com.dev.survivallog.eventlist.cfg (made on first start)Delete EventList.dll from the BepInEx\plugins folder.
To change settings, edit BepInEx\config\com.dev.survivallog.eventlist.cfg while the game is closed, or do it in game on the Mod Manager's Mods screen, where changes take effect at once, all but Enabled, which takes effect at the next game start (see CONFIG.md for every setting; the cfg file explains each setting in English and Chinese). Without Exiled's Toolkit installed, changes made on the Mods screen take effect at the next game start instead.
The event badge on the phone is checked every two seconds, so a new event text can take that long to show on it, and like the game's own badge it counts nothing while the phone is locked. Turn off PhoneEventBadge in the config if you do not want it. With the soonest-first order of countdowns on, a whole group can move: the normal events can sit above the main events when their countdown runs out sooner. Turn off CountdownSoonestFirst in the config if you prefer the game's order. The rescue and siege boxes are separate panels and stay where the game puts them.
