hold the middle mouse button and drag to turn the camera all the way around your character and tilt it. The game's rotate keys, Period (.) and Comma (,), turn it smoothly too.

Survival Log's camera looks at your character from one fixed angle and snaps back to them whenever they take the stairs, a menu closes or build mode ends. Camera lets you move it the way most games do, and keeps it where you put it. It only moves the camera; it never changes your character, the world or a save.
hold the middle mouse button and drag to turn the camera all the way around your character and tilt it. The game's rotate keys, Period (.) and Comma (,), turn it smoothly too.
Insert tilts the view steeper, Delete flatter.
PageUp lifts the camera, PageDown lowers it.
Home puts the angle, height and zoom back to the game's.
the scroll wheel moves the camera toward or away from your character instead of stretching the lens, with adjustable limits and scroll speed.
the plain game puts your zoom back to an older setting whenever the game re-centres the camera while it follows your character, for example when they take stairs or a ladder. Camera keeps the zoom you chose.

once you have moved the camera off your character, only the center camera key and the camera button on the screen bring it back. Stairs and ladders, closing an object menu, leaving build mode after moving or placing something, and the game's rotate keys all leave the camera where it is, on any floor. Cutscenes, photo mode, the tutorial and travelling to another map still move it the game's way.
orbit, tilt, raise and zoom work while exploring.
photo mode, cutscenes and the death camera use the game's own view, and yours comes back afterwards. Build mode keeps your view.
Every key can be changed or turned off in the config. Keys do nothing while you type, while a menu is open or while you rebind a key, and a key the game or another Survival Log mod already uses is turned off rather than doubled up. Works alongside Time Control.
Camera adds no data to your save and does not edit game files. You can remove it at any time.
Works in English and Chinese.
BepInEx\config\com.dev.survivallog.camera.cfgChange them on the Mod Manager's Mods screen, or edit the file with the game closed.[Height]PageDown by default) may take the camera below the game's height, in metres, from 0 to -50.PageUp by default) may lift the camera above the game's height, in metres, from 0 to 100.[Keys]Keys take Unity key names, such as F, Keypad8, PageUp or Mouse3 (the full list is Unity's KeyCode page). None turns a key off.
A key the game already uses, or one another Survival Log mod uses, is turned off at startup and the log names the setting and who has the key. Pick another key for it. Time Control's pause and center keys are read from Time Control's own settings file; without that file, Space and G are kept free for it.
If neither rotate key ends up with a key, the game's own rotate keys keep working the game's way.
[Rotate] Enabled is off. Game means the game's own rotate-left key, which is Period (.) unless you changed it in the game's key settings.[Rotate] Enabled is off. Raising and lowering still work.Middle, Right or None. Drag left and right to turn, up and down to tilt. A camera move the mod does not know about still goes through when it heads for a floor or map other than the one on screen.
With OnlyCenterKeyFollows off, the other three only hold the camera while you look at another floor (with the floor buttons, or F1 to F3), rather than the camera following your character. After a menu or build mode the camera still goes back to your character if you were looking at their own floor. On stairs and ladders it stays put, even when your character comes out on the floor you are looking at. The game's center camera key (Space by default, or G with Time Control) always brings the camera back to your character.
Space by default, or G with Time Control) and the camera button on the screen bring it back to them. Nothing else does, on any floor: not stairs or ladders, not closing a menu, not leaving build mode after moving or placing something, and not the game's rotate keys. Cutscenes, photo mode, starting a game, the tutorial and travelling to another map still move the camera the game's way. Off: StayOnStairs, StayAfterMenuClose and StayAfterBuildMode decide.[Zoom]The scroll wheel moves the camera itself toward or away from your character; the lens stays as it is, so the edges of the screen never stretch. The game counts at most five notches per scroll step, so on a wheel that sends several notches at once, high ScrollSpeed values may zoom no further than lower ones. With Closest and Farthest both at 1, the mod leaves the scroll wheel to the game's own zoom.

To change keys, limits or speeds, or turn off any piece, edit BepInEx\config\com.dev.survivallog.camera.cfg while the game is closed, or do it in game on the Mod Manager's Mods screen, where changes take effect at once, all but Rotate Enabled and MouseButton, and the Keys settings other than CenterKeyResetsView, which take effect at the next game start (see CONFIG.md for every setting; the cfg file explains each setting in English and Chinese). Without Exiled's Toolkit installed, changes made on the Mods screen take effect at the next game start instead.
