The Municipal Children's Home needs two servings of milk custard, two bottles of multivitamins and a batch of meat. The children have lived on dry rations and rice water for a long time, the youngest are already vomiting their food, and the doctor puts it down to prolonged malnutrition. Milk custard is steamed on the stove from eggs and milk; multivitamins turn up on hospital drug shelves and around supermarket checkouts; any meat counts, trapped or cooked.
