Just one seed in the opened paper bag, a size bigger than ordinary vegetable seed, its shell furred with a layer of greyish-white down. The research station put it plainly: fall short on one round's feed and it just stops growing — it won't die, it'll sit there stiff, waiting for you to remember it. Planting it is easy. Feeding it full, round after round, is not.
