The great horde has arrived. Swarms of zombies crash against the reinforced doors and windows, wave after wave. I huddle in the deepest part of the fortress, listening to the roars outside, my palms slick with sweat. The doors and windows are shaking, but they're still standing—as long as the walls don't fall, as long as I can hold out until the horde disperses, this fortress will have won.
